Kirsten Gillibrand
Kirsten Gillibrand is running for election in 2012 for her first full term in the U.S. Senate representing New York. She was appointed by the governor of New York to temporarily fill the seat vacated by Hillary Clinton's appointment as Secretary of State in January 2009, and she won a special election for the seat with 63 percent of the vote in November, 2010.

- Served as Special Counsel to United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Andrew Cuomo during the Clinton Administration.
