    Reproductive Health: Hamos has been involved in every legislative initiative affecting choice or reproductive health care over the past 11 years. In 2009, she co-sponsored the Reproductive Health and Access Act to protect the fundamental rights created by Roe v. Wade.
  • CEDAW: Led the Illinois General Assembly in urging the U.S. Senate to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). She is a strong proponent of international women’s rights.
